The president of the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE), Alejandro Blanco, and the paddler Rodrigo Germade, Olympic runner-up in Tokyo 2020, present this Friday (12:00 p.m.) the water footprint calculator developed by the COE and Acciona, exclusive partner of the Olympic body in Efficient Water Management Models.
This calculator will allow sports organizations to understand and measure the water footprint of their activities and implement solutions to optimize the use of water, seeking the environmental and economic sustainability of this scarce good.
The event, which will be held in the Alfredo Goyeneche Auditorium of the Olympic headquarters, will be attended by Alejandro Blanco; the general director of Institutional Relations, Communication and Brand of Acciona, Joaquín Mollinedo; and the ambassador of this action, Rodrigo Germade.
