Bilbao Athletic has rivals before a new coach

Bilbao Athletic already knows its rivals for next season. The rojiblanco subsidiary will be part of group I of what from now on will be called Primera RFEF, instead of Second B. The Bilbao team, yes, is still without a coach for the new campaign after the departure of Joseba Etxeberria.

The 40 teams that comprise this new category have been divided into two groups. The distribution of the same, according to the explanations of the Federation itself, has been carried out following an East-West geographical division, thus discarding the option that contemplated dividing the state territory diagonally.

The Bilbao Athletic, in this way, it will share group I with Racing (Cantabria), Zamora, Leonesa, Valladolid Promises and Unionists (Castilla y León), Talavera (Castilla La Mancha), Real Unión and Tudelano (Euskal Herria), Extremadura and Badajoz (Extremadura), Celta B, Depor and Ferrol (Galicia ), SD Logroñés, UD Logroñés y Calahorra (La Rioja) and Sanse, DUX Internacional and Rayo Majadahonda (Madrid).

Group II, meanwhile, will be made up of Sevilla Atlético, Betis Deportivo, Linares, Atlético Sanluqueño, San Fernando, Algeciras, Linense, Andorra, UCAM Murcia, Alcoyano, Albacete, Real Madrid Castilla, Atlético Baleares, Villarreal B, Castellón, Nàstic, Cornellà, Barcelona B, Sabadell and Llagostera.

In the system with which The competition will take place in both groups, it should be noted that the first classified will be promoted directly to the Second Division and the teams located between the second and fifth position will play the promotion play-offs in a single venue. In the lower area of ​​the table, the last five classified will be the clubs that will be relegated to the Second RFEF.

The clubs themselves have chosen by secret ballot the International Doge of Madrid, Unionistas of Salamanca, Racing Club of Santander, Athletic Club B and CF Rayo Majadahonda as their five representatives in the RFEF First Committee.
