Betis seeks to establish itself in sixth place against the aspirant Rayo

MADRID, 14 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Real Betis seeks this Monday (9:00 p.m.) at the Benito Villamarín, in the last game of the thirty-fourth day of LaLiga Santander, to establish itself in sixth position against a Rayo Vallecano that speeds up its options to play European competition next season.

The Verdiblancos ended a streak of three games without winning on the last matchday against Athletic Club (0-1), and now, with 52 points, they have four points ahead of the seventh-placed team -Girona, with one more game- and five over the first of the applicants to enter the continental zone -Athletic, also with 34 days played-.

The coach Manuel Pellegrini will not be able to count on the injured Nabil Fekir and will keep an eye on how the Joaquín and Luiz Felipe headdresses evolve, but in exchange he recovers Víctor Ruiz.

The Vallecano team, which arrives with the only doubt of the Colombian Radamel Falcao, still dreams of reaching the European positions. With 46 units, it is two away from seventh place, occupied by Girona and which gives access to the Conference League.

The victory against Real Valladolid (2-1) and the previous day’s setbacks for Athletic and Osasuna keep him hopeful, and the Catalans’ draw against Real Sociedad (2-2) this Saturday would allow him to sleep in Europe.
