Betis confirmed this Monday the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the knee of Victor
Camarasa, when the worst prognoses were confirmed after the injury suffered in one of the last training sessions of the stage in Marbella, as MD advanced yesterday.
“Real Betis player Víctor Camarasa sprained his right knee in training at the end of last week. After the evaluation by the Club's medical services and the complementary tests carried out, a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of his knee has been diagnosed that will force him to undergo surgery ”, says the note published by the Verdiblanco club, where he does not speak recovery period, although five or six months there is no one to take them away from this type of injury.
In addition, Camarasa himself has posted a tweet explaining how he feels.
The midfielder signed in summer 2017
Camarasa signed in the summer of 2017 as a Real Betis player but only played 24 league games in the first season (14 starts) under the command of Quique Setién. In 2018/19 he was loaned out and was a key player in Cardiff (32 Premier League games, 31 starters), which when relegated he was unable to make his purchase option effective. Last season he was loaned to Crystal Palace -also from the Premier-, where he barely played 5 minutes until January, and from then on he went to Alavés, where he was once again a key player, with 17 league games (15 starts).
