Betis concentrates on the home of the English team

The Real Betis expedition traveled to England this Monday to carry out their second preseason stage, which will take place in St. George’s Park, the home of English football. The English team, runner-up in the last Eurocup 2020, is usually concentrated in this venue. Real Betis will train from July 26 to July 31 in these exemplary facilities and during their stay in British lands they will take the opportunity to play two new friendlies, one of them against Wayne Rooney's Derby County (Wednesday 28J at 8pm in Pride Park) and the other against Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds (Saturday 31J at 1.30pm at Loughborough University).

The St. George’s Park complex, located forty minutes from Derby, it encompasses 130 hectares of Staffordshire and has a Hilton Chain hotel on its premises, with 228 rooms. It was built in 2012 with an investment of 105 million pounds. The venue features 14 outdoor football pitches, including a replica of Wembley's surface, a 3G indoor pitch, rehabilitation areas, an indoor futsal court and facilities of the highest standard.

After this second stage in England -the first one was held in Switzerland-, Real Betis will continue his preseason in Marbella, capital of the Costa del Sol, where Manuel Pellegrini will already have the contest of Claudio Bravo and Guido Rodríguez, although not yet with Juan Miranda and Diego Lainez, who are playing the Tokyo Olympics.

At this stage of IIn England Bartra and Joaquín do not travel, due to muscle problems, nor Juanmi, who tested positive by Covid last Friday and must be quarantined. Neither does the meta Dani Martin, about to close his assignment to another team.
