Berenguer pulls the cart

The goal is one of the pending subjects of Athletic de Marcelino
in league. The rojiblanco team accumulates a total of 20 goals in favor in their fourteen commitments in the regularity tournament with the Asturian coach on the bench. 9 of those goals were divided into two specific games: 5-1 against Getafe and 0-4 against Cádiz.

Alex Berenguer is the lion that has pierced the rival goals the most times during this time. The Navarrese adds five goals: three of them in San Mamés and two at home. His last target, however, dates back to March 7., when Athletic beat Granada at home thanks to a goal from their last signing.

That meeting, curiously, coincides with Athletic's last victory in the regularity tournament. Since then, Marcelino's team has lost a game, 2-1 against Atlético de Madrid, and has tied the remaining five. In none of these commitments has he been able to score more than once.

Berenguer is also the top scorer for the rojiblanco team, adding the stage of Gaizka Garitano to that of the Asturian coach. The Navarrese signed two more goals before the relief took place on the bench.

Raúl García, for his part, is second in the league's top scorers list
with Marcelino on the bench. The Navarrese has signed three goals after the change of coach. Two were against Gefafe at home and the remaining against Levante at the Ciutat de Valencia. Since February 26, therefore, this veteran footballer has been without seeing a goal in the regularity tournament. With Garitano, by the way, he signed another one.

Williams, Villalibre and Muniain continue the list of Athletic's top filmmakers in the League with Marcelino on the bench. All three have scored two goals. The last from Bilbao dates back to February 15, the one from Gernikarra coincided with the not too distant derby against Real in Anoeta and the one from Navarre coincided with the visit to Wanda on March 10.

Both Williams and Muniain had three more goals per beard with Garitano. Villalibre, for his part, added two. Athletic's list of scorers with Marcelino in the League also includes two rival players. Guillamón scored on his own during Valencia's visit to Bilbao and Jordi Alba did the same at Camp Nou.

The overall number of lions who have scored a goal with the Asturian coach on the bench, as regards the regularity tournament, rises to nine. The aforementioned players are joined on the list by Yeray, Yuri, De Marcos and Unai López.
