The winger returns to the Barça team after terminating his contract with Arsenal and signs a season
Dest heads to AC Milan and Abde, to Osasuna on loan
MADRID, 2 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
FC Barcelona has incorporated this Thursday at the last minute of the closing of the transfer market the Spanish side Héctor Bellerín, who will wear the Barça shirt again in a movement that was registered by LaLiga at 11:59 p.m.
Bellerín will return to Barcelona, after the defender has terminated his contract with Arsenal, and will sign until June 30, 2023 with a termination clause of 50 million euros. The footballer left La Masia in 2011 to join the North London team’s youth team.
He made his debut with the first team in 2013 and the following season he left on loan to Watford. After this period, he returned to Arsenal as a member of the first team. Since then he was a ‘gunner’ until the call from Betis last season -precisely also on the last day of the market-. Now, the player will continue in LaLiga Santander after his good season with the Andalusian team.
Protagonist from start to finish this summer in the offices, Barça pressed the accelerator at the end, although the official confirmation of the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Chelsea did not arrive, despite not appearing on the LaLiga website as a Barça player.
For this reason, the Gabonese could have been discharged, which would trigger his signing for the ‘blues’ in the next few hours. Regarding the rumors with the arrival of Marcos Alonso, the club did not confirm his arrival either. The winger was not signed up, although he could enter in the morning as a free agent if he agrees to leave him with the London team.
DEST AND ABDE, DEPARTURES TO MILAN AND OSASUNA
In addition, the American winger Serginho Dest will play on loan at AC Milan, which has a purchase option. Thus, Xavi gets rid of the player, who did not count for the one from Terrassa. Throughout the afternoon, FC Barcelona also confirmed the departure of Abde, one of the names of the last market day.
The Moroccan, without a hole behind the great offensive wardrobe, will live his first full experience in LaLiga Santander. He will do it with CA Osasuna, a team that has taken over his services on loan. An operation in which the Barça board decided to renew the player until 2026 prior to his departure without a purchase option.
In fact, the winger arrived at Can Barça last season from Hércules and, after starting the season in the subsidiary, made the leap to the first team, with whom he played twelve official matches.
DEPAY, DE JONG AND JORDI ALBA STILL AT CAN BARÇA
As for the rest of the rumours, the Dutchman Frenkie de Jong will finally continue under Xavi. The midfielder, who seemed to be more out than in at times due to the wage bill, will not finally leave the team.
In the same way as the side Jordi Alba, who will have to fight for ownership against the young Alejandro Balde and still waiting for Marcos Alonso. An atypical situation for the one from Hospitalet, irreplaceable on the left side in recent years and who happened to be on the starting line this week.
For his part, the Dutchman Memphis Depay, another of the protagonists, will wear the Barça shirt for another season, as the player himself confirmed an hour before the market closed. “I have decided to stay at Barça. Totally committed to contributing to the sporting success of the club”, he pointed out.
Finally, midfielder Pablo Torre will not head to Santander either -as Xavi expected-, so he will be able to count on the 18-year-old player who will alternate between the first team and the reserve team.
