Bautista and Berezina, classified for the final of the all-around contest at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships

The Spanish gymnasts Alba Bautista and Polina Berezina have accessed this Friday to the final of the all-around competition at the 39th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, which is taking place in Baku (Azerbaijan), after having been respectively eleventh and twelfth among the 24 athletes classified.

Again in the exercises, alternating with the representatives of Lithuania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Italy, Israel, Serbia, San Marino, Romania and the United Kingdom, the two Spaniards experienced another day for the senior category on the mat of the Milli Gimnastika Arenasi in the second day shift.

In the club rotation, Berezina scored 29,500 to finish eleventh and become the third reserve heading into the final; instead, Bautista made a score of 28,000 and finished twentieth. The German Darja Varfolomeev, with 31,900 points, occupied the first position of this device.

In the tape rotation, Bautista received a score of 29,550 to finish twelfth, with no options here to be a substitute for the final; For her part, Berezina was fourteenth according to her 29,050 points. The Ukrainian Viktoriia Onopriienko, with a score of 32,050, led in this apparatus.

According to the accumulated results of the four rotations, two carried out this same Friday and the other two carried out the day before, Bautista was left with a record of 92,050 in eleventh place; meanwhile, Berezina was twelfth with a mark of 91,650. In total, for the complete contest, 84 gymnasts took part on both days.
