The oldest footballer in having played in the Barcelona first team, Batiste Llopis, has died this Tuesday, May 10, at the age of 105, unexpectedly suffering an accidental fall at home.

Wolves played for Barcelona in the forties of the 20th century, between 1941 and 1943, although he was a substitute and played six friendly matches. He would have been 106 years old on May 20, a very significant date in the history of the Barcelona club.

Llopis, natural of Carcaixent (València) received in recent seasons the institutional visit of several Barcelona delegations.
