Bartra is out against Granada and Pezzella and Víctor Ruiz doubt

Marc Bartra saw his fifth yellow card this Tuesday in the final stages of the match that the Real Betis won at Mestalla against Valencia (0-3) and will be absent in next Sunday’s match against Granada in Benito Villamarín due to accumulation of reprimands.

Central defender Víctor Ruiz -as well as Claudio Bravo and Bellerín- was not present at Mestalla due to injury, while Germán Pezzella, who in recent months had established himself as the axis of defense along with Bartra, had to withdraw with discomfort after from a stomp on the heel that Foulquier gave him, for which he was replaced by Edgar in the 81st minute of the game.

At the moment, Edgar is the only central defender that Pellegrini has for Sunday, pending the evolution of Pezzella and Víctor Ruiz. The Betis squad enjoyed a break this Wednesday and will return to training on Thursday.

Against Valencia, Marc Bartra achieved his 100th victory in the First Division, the 50th he has achieved in the ranks of Real Betis, with whom he has played 10,386 minutes in 119 games. With FC Barcelona he added another 50 victories in 3,746 minutes and only 59 games played !!.
