Barcelona has sent its proposal to the Generalitat de Catalunya late in the afternoon this Thursday for hold the referendum on the vote of no confidence on November 1 and 2, which fall on Sunday and Monday. According to the Blaugrana entity, this decision, which exhausts the maximum period set by the statutes, is to “facilitate the reconciliation of the family and professional life of the partners”.
This proposal must now be approved by the different departments of the Catalan government that must approve the protocol.
The promoters of the vote expected it to take place next weekend, October 24 and 25, coinciding with the Clásico against Real Madrid at the Camp Nou, but the club chooses to lengthen the process to the maximum of what the statutes allow.
In this sense, the definitive date must be set before next October 26.
