According to Vives, “the president expressed himself clearly, seriously and elegantly in defense of Barça's interests. Nobody can doubt the leadership role of the club in the implementation of the VAR, which was even criticized in its day ”.
Vives made these statements in the framework of the press conference in which the entity presented the conclusions on Barçagate.
The club spokesman explained that Barcelona's intention is to review the criteria, not to attack the VAR. “We supported VAR because we wanted to improve a task as difficult as refereeing.
