Barça goes to Naples with the novelty of Araujo

BARCELONA, 23 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

FC Barcelona faces Naples this Thursday at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium (9:00 p.m.), in the second leg of the Europa League ‘Play-off’, with the only change in the squad list regarding the central defender’s first leg Ronald Araújo.

Xavi Hernández’s men are seeking the pass to the round of 16 of the competition in a Neapolitan fiefdom, and they will do so with Araujo already recovered from the injury that prevented him from being at the Camp Nou, in a match that ended in a draw (1-1), along with to a Gerard Piqué who was against the Italians and who arrives fresh after serving a sanction in LaLiga.

The injured Samuel Umtiti, Clément Lenglet, Sergi Roberto, Ansu Fati, Memphis Depay and, for not being registered in the competition, Dani Alves, Ferran Jutglà and Ez Abde are still off the list.

The Catalans travel to Naples this Wednesday morning to train in the afternoon at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium starting at 7:00 p.m. Before that, at 6:15 p.m., the previous press conference for Xavi Hernández and goalkeeper Marc-André Ter Stegen will take place.
