Barça issued a statement Tuesday confirming its closure the next two weeks:
Given the situation generated by the transmission of the coronavirus, and with the aim of preserving the protection and integrity of its partners, peñistas, fans, athletes, visitors and employees, FC Barcelona has assumed the indications and preventive recommendations of the competent health authorities
1. Consequently, for at least the next two weeks, all matches of professional, amateur and training competitions will be held behind closed doors. The Club will return to the buyers the amounts of the tickets of all those sporting events affected by this measure and the trip to Mallorca for this weekend acquired through Barça Displacements.
2. The Club has also decided to cancel the Barça Academy World Cup Tournament scheduled to be held in Barcelona during Holy Week and has suspended activity at the Barça Academy in China, Japan, Dubai and Kuwait, as well as events at some Barça Academy Clinics, following the instructions of the local health authorities.
3. It has also been decided to cancel the movements of training teams to tournaments and friendly matches planned to be held during the months of March and April.
4. The Social Area has also decided to suspend its activities related to the dispute of the matches on March 22 at the Camp Nou against Leganés, such as the action of Llotja Oberta in the Estadi, the photo of children with the First team and the Barça Heroes action that presents different young members that are releasing this year's children's category to go out to the field of the hand of the Barça players. As for the activity of the rocks, the meeting of Aragon, La Rioja and Navarra and the 25th anniversary of the PB of Alcorisa, scheduled for Saturday, March 14 in Alcorisa (Teruel), and also the meeting of Peñas have been postponed of the Balearic Islands scheduled for the 13th, the night before the Mallorca-FC Barcelona match.
