This match will be the fifth between Barcelona and Turinese in the United States. The first two games date back to 1969, with back-to-back games at Yankee Stadium in New York and Chicago. The other two games in the United States were played in 2003, in Boston, and the most recent was in 2017, at MetLife in New Jersey, with a 2-1 victory for the Blaugrana.
These matches against Real Madrid and Juventus are part of the ‘Soccer Champions Tour’, organized by the sports and entertainment company AEG, and in which the Mexican teams of Club América and Club Deportivo Guadalajara also participate.
