Barça and Jaén FS, League final in style

MADRID, 8 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Barça will defend their title in the National Futsal League against Jaén Paraíso Interior, after beating Inter Movistar 2-4, while the Andalusian team beat Mallorca Palma Futsal (1-0) to reach the first final of his story.

The culé team aspires to a third title in a row after eliminating Madrid in the semifinals on the fast track. Two goals, from André Coelho and another from Pito, protested by the locals and by all of Jorge Garbajosa because, without repetition, it was impossible to know if they had entered, they broke a very balanced game until the break, and that left the goals for the second time.

Jesús Velasco’s men thus made it 2-0 and the direct ticket, in search of a title they need to play in the next Champions League. The other ticket is safe for Palma, current champions, despite their defeat against Jaén who is looking for another feat, in the final of the best of five games that starts on Friday the 16th.

Those of Dani Rodríguez, current champions of the Spanish Cup, were a defensive wall against the Balearic Islands. The team with the fewest goals scored in the League once again had a great Espíndola under the sticks and an own goal by Tomaz in the second half gave the Jaén team their place in the first league final in their history.
