Bárbara Rey’s bracelet in prime time on TVE: “Government resignation”

Bárbara Rey participated this Wednesday in a new installment of Blood tieswhich did not reach 6% of share and left La 1 as the fourth option in prime time behind Antena 3, Telecinco and Cuatro. The mother of Sofía Cristo and Ángel Cristo Jr. participated in the tribute that the public broadcaster’s programme prepared for the singer and guitarist Peret, who passed away in 2014.

During the debate, Jordi González approached her, a friend of the honoree, to have a conversation related to the conflict that the artist from Totana has had with her son since he decided to start a media war against her on Telecinco.

“Having children is complicated, it hurts,” the Catalan presenter told her. “Man, yes, childbirth is painful,” she replied. “That’s what I thought, childbirth hurts. But childbirth after forty years, does it hurt again?”the communicator responded. “It hurts even more because you’re more closed off and because you don’t expect it. But anyway, why are you asking me this?”.

Jordi continued: “You are a strong, brave woman.” And she said: “Yes, I think that in that sense, just as Peret has been a very religious person, I am a very religious person and I am convinced that God helps me because“Among other things, I believe that God is within each one of us and that helps me enormously.”

Regarding a conversation she had with Jordi himself a few years ago in Palma de Mallorca, where they met at a hotel, Bárbara recalled: “I have always talked so much about my children because for me they have been my life,” acknowledged the actress, who has suffered from depression following the conflict with her son and has taken legal action against him.

But not only did some of Barbara’s statements during the broadcast of the program attract attention, but also a detail of her style. The actress, in prime time on RTVE, chose a bracelet with the Spanish flag on which was written “Government resignation”. A detail that has not gone unnoticed on social media.
