Badé extends his contract with Sevilla until 2029

MADRID, 2 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

French centre-back Loïc Badé extended his contract with Sevilla FC on Monday and will continue to wear the Sevilla shirt until June 2029, thus securing himself another two years in addition to those he has so far signed as a Nervion player, according to a statement.

“Sevilla FC and Loïc Badé have reached an agreement for the renewal of the French centre-back, who has signed a new contract until June 2029, four more seasons once the one just started ends,” the club announced on its website.

Badé arrived at Sevilla in the winter transfer market of the 22/23 campaign, on loan from French side Stade Rennais, and then signed a contract until June 2027, so he now extends his contract for two more seasons and becomes one of the stars of the team now coached by Javier García Pimienta.

Badé played a total of 33 games last season between LaLiga, Copa del Rey, Champions League and European Super Cup, adding up to 60 matches in addition to those of the previous season. The Frenchman’s good performance led him to be at the Games with his national team, being an undisputed starter and where they finally won the silver medal after losing in the final to Spain.
