MADRID, 27 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, maintained this Wednesday that they still have to “be cautious” with the arrival of a Formula 1 Grand Prix in Madrid and “wait a few days.”

“There is no doubt that we have our hopes pinned on this great event. I believe that any city in the world would like to have something like this for a few years. It attracts investments, makes a country brand and, in addition, this generates that many other industries, especially sports and tourism, become more dynamic,” the Madrid leader said in the press conference after the last Government Council of the year.

Previously, in the initial balance of 2023, he has defended that throughout the year they have worked for the arrival of Formula 1, which would take advantage of the “great pull of Madrid”, leaving 4.5 billion euros in the region and 8,200 jobs.
