Ayuso defends her boyfriend: “I am free to get in his car and get into bed with whoever I want”

The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayusoappeared this Wednesday before the media after the extraordinary meeting of its Government Council in Leganés. These statements are due to accusations of tax fraud affecting his boyfriend, Alberto González, who allegedly defrauded 350,951 euros for two consecutive years, in the context of the pandemic. These figures break down into 155,000 euros in 2020 and 195,951.41 euros in the following year. The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, calls for the resignation of the leader of the Popular Party. “It is the Treasury that owes him 600,000 euros in interest. There is no invoice scheme, there are no ghost companies, everything is an invention of the true anti-democratic plot that governs Spain: Pedro Sánchez’s plot that uses the Prosecutor’s Office to attack, not only politically, but personally, Isabel Díaz Ayuso”, he has advanced.

Ayuso has criticized the Government’s actions, which he defines as an attempt to destabilize his position through personal attacks, and has stressed that the accusations against his partner are part of a “shady” matter and orchestrated by the powers of the State. In this sense, he has insisted that this is not a political case and that he has resorted to “the use of the powers of the State against an individual (in reference to the health technician)”. “I hope we all know what has happened here, because it would be very interesting to know the plot behind Moncloa and the socialist party,” he said.

Politics has toughened its tone when referring to Sánchez, whom it has advised to “relax.” According to Ayuso, the investigations that fall on González and affect her public image “have only been orchestrated to harm” her. “Mr. Sánchez, I think that what you have to do is relax, which is best for you with a vacation in the Dominican Republic. You know this very well“. “I see the President of the Government a little nervous these days. Something happens to him to be this nervous,” he added.

The president of the Community of Madrid has asked a question – “would we talk about this if he were not my boyfriend?” – and has declared that she feels stunned by this situation. “I am somewhat surprised, when the person affected does not know anything and some media outlets knew some information that was becoming known in the newsrooms. There is no right for anyone’s personal data to circulate anywhere. If after a lifetime of working, this person can afford to buy a house, a car or seven, I am free to be with him and get into that bed.” Regarding these last words, he has insisted on living his private life without be persecuted or questioned for it: “I am free to sleep in whatever bed I want.”

“If I am guilty of anything, it is having a relationship with an anonymous citizen,” he added. Ayuso has stated that the apartment in which he lives does not cost a million, that it is not his, that there is a mortgage and that everything is legal. “When the Treasury returns what it owes him, maybe he will buy it.” Regarding the vehicle, it is worth remembering that the Madrid president left the members of the Puerta de Hierro Club in Madrid speechless when, one day in June 2022, she entered with an unknown companion. Ayuso arrived aboard a Maserati convertible, a high-end car, who went directly to the front door of the club, instead of using the side parking lots. The president of the Community of Madrid and her friend got out of the vehicle and were greeted by one of the employees, who accompanied them to one of the club’s reserved areas. Now we have known that her boyfriend bought a Maserati a year earlier, in 2021according to information from Cadena Ser, which cites Plural.com. White and bottled.

“I am free to sleep in any bed I want”

Ayuso has been dating her boyfriend since 2021, with whom she lives in the center of Madrid. The home, located in the central Chamberí neighborhood, was acquired on July 27, 2022 and it is in the name of Alberto González Amador. The apartment has 183 square meters and is valued at 837,893.61 euros. The property has a mortgage of 500,000 euros in the name of the businessman. The boyfriend of the popular baroness has been denounced for defrauding the Treasury of 350,951 euros between 2020 and 2021 using a scheme of false invoices and shell companies. This is at least stated in the complaint that the Madrid Provincial Prosecutor’s Office presented in court on March 5 after receiving a report from the Tax Agency with the conclusions of an investigation that began two years earlier. The Treasury detected suspicious movements in the companies of the boyfriend of the president of Madrid due to his enrichment during the pandemic in the declarations presented in 2021 and 2022.

Alberto González’s problems with the treasury

The prosecutor points to Alberto Gonzalez for tax fraud and document falsification. According to the complaint, the health technician evaded payment of 350,951 euros to the Treasury from a network of false invoices and shell companies. The Public Ministry maintains that the boyfriend of the Madrid president committed two tax crimes provided for in article 305.1 of the Penal Code relating to Corporate Tax for the years 2020 and 2021.

According to the liquidation of the Tax Agency made public this Tuesday by elDiario.es, the fee defrauded by Ayuso’s boyfriend was, allegedly, 155,000 euros in 2020 and 195,951.41 in 2021. The investigation began following the statements presented in 2021 and 2022 that reflected an exponential increase in the companies’ turnover of the Madrid president’s boyfriend from 2020, the first year of the pandemic. That year, his sales multiplied by more than six, up to 2.3 million, according to his annual accounts. Despite this, before the Treasury he declared only 8,400 euros of profit, after recording expenses that did not correspond to reality. The crime against the Public Treasury also carries with it a fine, which can range from the mere amount defrauded to multiplying that amount by six.
