Atlético de Madrid, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Levante UD fulfilled their commitment to the round of 16 of the Queen's Cup this Saturday, before facing the Spanish Super Cup next week, the first title of the season .
The red and white team, current Cup champion, closed the action this Saturday with the victory (1-2) over Deportivo Alavés. The Basque team from the Primera RFEF did not surprise Atlético, who went into the break with a 0-2 lead from Sheila García and Vilde Boe Risa. In the second half the game was tied, with no chances, of course, and the Basques pulled one back but in the last minute with Sara Carrillo.
Meanwhile, Barça, eliminated last season due to an improper lineup, mercilessly beat CD Alba Fundación Femenino (0-6), also in a lower category. Dragoni, Martina, Oshoala, Ona Batlle, Pina and Mariona scored the goals for the solid leader of League F in the morning session that opened the round of 16.
For its part, Real Madrid also made its debut in the 'ko tournament' in a resounding way with a 0-5 away win against Real Betis. The white team dominated from the early stages with Athenea 0-1 and Toletti scored the second from the penalty spot before the break. The Béticas, who arrived at a bad time with four consecutive defeats in the League, did not find faith in the comeback at any time and Linda, Moller and Freja Siri rounded out the 'little hand' of Alberto Toril's team.
Meanwhile, Levante, six-time champion of the Queen's Cup, beat Valencia (0-1) thanks to Mayra Ramírez's solitary goal in the 44th minute. The 'granota' team, which beat its neighbor in the league duel, had to sweat against a 'che' team that pushed hard in search of a turn in their season.
