Arteta: “Arsenal should learn from Liverpool”

Mikel Arteta, Arsenal coach, stated that his club should “learn from Liverpool” and emulate the reconstruction work carried out by Jürgen Klopp, who took over the 'red' team in 2015 and from his bench has managed to win the Premier, the Champions, the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup. But if he loses to Arsenal this Wednesday, the ‘red’ team will not be able to match Pep Guardiola's record of 100 points for City in 2017-18. With three games to go, Liverpool have 93 points.

“What they have done is phenomenal. Obviously, it took them a while to rebuild the team and create a new culture, a new philosophy and a game model that would suit the coach, ”Arteta told reporters ahead of Wednesday's clash against Liverpool.

“They began to sign each player in relation to what they needed, specifically for each position … and financially they had great support and made great signings, which changed the club,” were the words of Arteta.

The Arsenal coach and former assistant to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City also said: “The context at this time is different from what it was four years ago and the possibilities for a club to rebuild something are more limited, but it is certainly something that We have to see how they did it, because it is a great example. ”
