Arsenal beat Liverpool (3-1) this Sunday on matchday 23 of the Premier to get closer to the 'red' leadership, while Manchester United beat West Ham (3-0) to continue aspiring for one European spot in the table that are moving away for Chelsea.

Mikel Arteta's team won a direct and vital duel to get into the fight for the title. Now, the 'gunners' have 49 points compared to the 51 of a Liverpool that had no gunpowder up front and that failed a lot in defense. Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker were in the photo for the second goal and the third at the Emirates.

Arsenal were better from the start, but fell short with Saka's goal after a quarter of an hour and Gabriel's own goal in stoppage time (1-1). The gift was even greater from the visitors, when Martinelli made it 2-1 in a terrible start from Becker with little help on the other side from Van Dijk.

Without Mohamed Salah, Jurgen Klopp gave everything he had but Arsenal did not suffer, playing with one more at the end due to the second yellow card for Konate and with Trossard's 3-1 in the 92nd minute, under Becker's legs after play Van Dijk.
