Arrasate: “We feel sorry, we play a decent game and you leave empty”

MADRID, 19 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Osasuna’s coach, Jagoba Arrasate, acknowledged this Saturday having a feeling of “sorry” after his team’s defeat (0-2) against Real Madrid at El Sadar, despite playing a “worthy” game, at the same time time that recognized the superiority of the whites and highlighted the figure of Vinicius.

“Playing well right now is no consolation. We feel sorry, we play a decent game and you leave empty. You have to take positive things. There are still many LaLiga games and a Copa del Rey semifinal left,” said the coach in Press conference.

In this sense, Arrasate wanted to analyze the clash, detailing his team’s mistakes. “I think that in the first half we defended well and we had the ball. But in the second half the tie was not worth it and they went for the goal, although we also had chances. In the second half they appeared the errors. I leave discontent”, aimed.

“We have already seen this film and it is repetitive. It was a nice game, but we have granted transitions. Corner in favor and goal against. When they have meters they are very dangerous. I was liking the game, we had personality and I think we weren’t suffering, but every mistake was a dangerous situation. Sergio has kept us going, but in the end that action has come and we have the feeling that we are always close and in the end nothing”, he added.

Lastly, the Basque coach praised Vinicius’s good form. “He is one of the best players in LaLiga. While he gives you help you can stop him, but when the game opens he remains the same and does not falter. Especially when the opponent may be more tired and that is why more occasions have appeared in the second part than in the first”, he expressed.
