Villarreal confirms that the loan includes a purchase option

MADRID, 25 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

25-year-old Dutch striker Arnaut Danjuma will play until the end of the season for Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur on loan from Villarreal CF, in a deal that includes a future purchase option.

“Villarreal CF and Tottenham Hotspur have reached a loan agreement for the footballer Arnaut Danjuma. The Dutch attacker will play for the London team until the end of this 2022-23 campaign. The loan includes a purchase option,” announced Villarreal.

Danjuma, who so far this season has played 17 games and scored 6 goals with the ‘Yellow Submarine’, sets a Tottenham course for the Premier, finally (after rumors about his arrival at Everton), who reinforces his lead with the Dutch, 6 times absolute international.

“We are delighted to announce the signing of Arnaut Danjuma, on loan from Villarreal until the end of the 2022/23 season, subject to international authorization,” the ‘Spurs’ announced in a statement.

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, the quick and skilful striker has scored 22 goals in 51 appearances for Villarreal to date. Numbers that he will now try to bring to Tottenham, fifth in the Premier League and fighting for ‘Champions’ positions, at the expense of knowing where he will play next season; if in La Cerámica or the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
