Antonio Banderas: “Sooner or later the calm will come after the storm”

Málaga has published a video on their social networks, spoken by the famous Malaga actor Antonio Banderas. The objective is to touch the sensitive fiber of the malaguista fans after a season riddled with problems and tripping. It is titled, 'More memory, more commitment and more faith' which are the words that make up the hallmarks of the blue and white team. The video combines the words of the interpreter of ‘Two Much, El Zorro or Desperado and winner of the Goya 2020 as best actor in 'Dolor y gloria' by Pedro Almodóvar,’With images showing both the Champions League moments and the painful defeat against Deportivo in the promotion to First Division.

These are the actor's words. Blessed are those who do not flee from bad memories. They do not intend to erase them from their memory, but rather revive them clearly. They know that they are the strength of their amazing strength. Success is not in never falling, but always getting up. Those who honor our memory. Blessed are those who do not renounce the commitment. That they do not see it as an obligation that prevents them from being free. For those who are born, years are born from the depths of their being. They work without looking at the clock and turn their peers' success into their own. Those who smile without realizing it on the battlefield. Happy are those who have faith. That they are able to see, as well as with the eyes, with the heart. Those who, despite the wind blowing against it and the tide rising uncontrollably, do not doubt that, Sooner or later, calm will come after the storm. Blessed are you, Malaguistas, who honor our initials with your memory, your commitment and your faith ”.

The video was released just 24 hours after the club offered its subscribers three compensation options for the six games that had to be played behind closed doors due to the Covid-19 crisis.
