Anti-violence calls for “responsibility” for “the increase” of demonstrations doubting the referees

The Permanent Commission of the State Commission Against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport, appealed this Monday “to the responsibility of all the actors involved” after verifying “the increase” in the demonstrations questioning the actions of the soccer collegiates.

“The Permanent Commission, given the increase and unwanted repercussion of the demonstrations and incidents that call into question the performance of the collective, wants to appeal to the responsibility of all the actors involved in the competition,” Antiviolencia said in a press release.

The organization recalled that “it has responsibility for the prevention of Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport” and that all the parties involved have “the commitment when it comes to stopping those behaviors, manifestations or events that imply create and foster a hostile climate in sport”.

On the other hand, Antiviolencia also agreed to declare the Asturian derby between Real Sporting de Gijón and Real Oviedo on May 14 and corresponding to matchday 40 of LaLiga SmartBank High Risk.
