Ansu Fati: “No matter how many obstacles there are, I will always have the illusion of continuing to fight for my dreams”

Just a week ago, one of the worst news was confirmed: Ansu Fati's ordeal continued. In November 2020, he injured the meniscus in his left knee. Since then, and after an estimated loss of 4 months, things have gone from bad to worse. The first post-operative that lasted longer than expected, a new secret operation without any information from Barcelona … And now, a third operation on the table, previously using shock therapy to avoid it, with the consequent dismissal of the season with the Barça and the Eurocopa with Spain.

However, despite these problems, Ansu Fati does not lose hope. The young Barça footballer posted a post on his Instagram this Wednesday, where he appears exercising in the gym with the aim of finally being able to fully recover. In addition, both the photo and the video are accompanied by a long statement, where He relates that years ago he had to go through a similar situation. A ruptured tibia and fibula kept him off the pitch for about a year, something that helped him mentally to be prepared for similar events.

“A few years ago I had a serious injury, a fractured tibia and fibula, I spent almost a year without being able to play. There were many days of suffering and pain, but also a lot of learning, it helped me to appreciate the little details. With my family and everyone the professionals who helped me at that time, I promised myself to keep going and work harder than ever to do what I like the most !!

Unfortunately, now I have to live a similar situation, which I will face with the same mentality. I want to thank all those people who follow me and support me on a daily basis. Soccer is my life and no matter how many obstacles there are, I will always have the illusion of continuing to fight for my dreams … “.
