Bayern has found itself face to face with another Alaba case. According to Bild, one of its head offices, Niklas Süle has made the decision not to continue at Bayern from next season and his contract will expire definitively on June 30. His future has been entrenched lately because in addition to being in the last year of his contract, he does not seem to want to continue wearing the Bundesliga champion’s clothing.
Hence the ultimatum that Bayern launched. “We have made an offer to Niklas Süle. Now it is up to him to accept or reject. Of course, it has to be within a certain time frame, because then we will have to position ourselves accordingly.”The president explained about a player. However, TZ published that the player has said no to that proposal. The center-back has become the object of FC Barcelona’s desire, while Bayern already thinks of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rüdiger, both from Chelsea, as possible substitutes in case Süle ends up leaving.
And Lewandowski?
At Bayern Munich they have decided to park the future of Robert Lewandowski. The Best in the ranks of the Bundesliga champion is on the agendas of the greats of Europe, especially considering that his contract at the Allianz Arena expires in 2023. At the moment, the star has not renewed with Bayern and, apparently, within the six-time European champion they are in no hurry. Despite the enormous risk that not reaching an agreement before the end of the season would entail since, as happened in the case of David Alaba, he could leave for free in 2023.
But at Bayern they have full confidence that Lewy’s plan involves hanging up his boots in Munich, as Herbert Hainer, president of the entity, hinted at it in an interview with the television network Sky Sport. “Our sports management is in permanent contact with the players. We still have a little time with Robert Lewandowski. His contract lasts until 2023. But, as I said, I would be happy if he finished his career with us”, stressed the Munich boss when asked about the Polish Golden Shoe.
Tolisso can go out
The case of Corentin Tolisso, in a dazzling state of form that is reflected in the two goals he scored in his last two games, looks different. The Frenchman’s contract also expires in 2022, but the club’s leadership is still not entirely convinced of renewing him. This is due to the number of injuries that do not allow him to have continuity in the team led by Nagelsmann, so everything will depend on his performance and, above all, on his physical condition in the coming months. Gladbach’s Denis Zakaria is on the Bavarians’ list as a possible replacement.
