Dutch international Aniek Nouwen and goalkeeper coach Erskine Schoenmakers have abandoned the concentration of the Netherlands women's soccer team, in France, for possible cases of coronavirus.
The federation informed this Saturday that the measure was taken preventively, as The Dutch National Institute of Health has advised residents of North Brabant to stay at home and limit their social contacts if they have symptoms of the disease.
Nouwen and Schoenmakers live in that province and have a cough and cold, although they have no fever.
Both have returned to the Netherlands and they must remain in their homes. Coach Sarina Wiegman is considering asking for a replacement for PSV player Eindhoven.
The Dutch team participates in the Tournament of France, plays this Saturday against Canada and next Tuesday against the gala team.
