We inaugurate the year with the film Live in the momentwhich closed the last San Sebastián film festival. It did so with good reviews and an excellent reception from the public. Living in the moment is part of that genre that has emerged lately in which the story being told is fragmented and does not have a classic continuity in which time and actions are linked chronologically. In this way, the story of this couple over the years will go back and forth, sometimes making it difficult to know where we are.

Here comes a very important factor in the film, time, that time that we decide to take advantage of is sometimes unpredictable and, therefore, we must know how to invest it. All this, which may seem simple or complicated, makes this film something different.
Love in the face of adversity
The exploration you do is very important. Live in the moment of the power of love in the face of the most absolute adversity without ever seeking the viewer’s tears, although some of its sequences are moving and exciting. The director knows how to cut them at the right moment, something that seems brave and very necessary to a film that does not need sentimentality. The story, the truth that is reflected, is enough.
None of what I have told you so far would have been possible without its two main performers who give life to the protagonist couple: Florence Pugh y Andrew Garfield. The actress is undoubtedly one of the most outstanding promises of her generation, while Garfield, since he abandoned the tights of the Spider Man suit, has confirmed himself as one of the best young actors on the artistic scene. In short, Live the moment will appeal to all those looking for a romantic film, not at all typical as we pointed out, and that makes it very special. We can only enjoy it if we decide to go see it.
