The goal at Rayo is a matter of two. Andrés Martín and Isi are monopolizing it in these first twelve days. The Sevillian midfielder, 21, has given four assists (Sabadell, Málaga, Espanyol and Fuenlabrada) and has scored two so many (Fuenlabrada and Sporting). Some numbers that place him in the silver of the largest attendees in the category, since only Marc Mateu, from Castellón, has distributed more targets. Five to be exact.
Also the Murcian winger, 25, is emerging. He is the top scorer of the Strip with four goals (Mallorca, Malaga, Espanyol and Albacete) and, in addition, another has served (Malaga). Both players have participated in 83% of the many Vallecanos this season. In other words, only Comesaña's target – assisted by Álvaro – against Sabadell and Juande's – at his own door – against the Malacitano team have not had their presence.
The two of them have intervened, scoring or assisting, in ten of Rayo's twelve goals. Y the high point came with the victory goal against Espanyol, in a play in which Andrés looked and assisted Isi who, with a beautiful volley with his left leg, scored the 1-0. Both have become Iraola's potion for the lack of goal. Hence, he has used them in each and every one of the twelve games. Isi is the third player in the squad with the most minutes (971, after Catena and Fran García with 990) and Andrés has managed to establish himself in the starting position for the third consecutive week.
