Ander Guevara signs with Alavés until 2027

MADRID, 9 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The midfielder Ander Guevara will play for Deportivo Alavés for the next four seasons, until 2027, confirmed this Sunday the babazorro club, which has reached an agreement with Real Sociedad for the transfer of the Vitoria-born footballer, who will enjoy the return of the team from his hometown to Primera.

Guevara, 25, came to Zubieta at the age of a cadet from Deportivo Alavés, and after training in the lower categories and in the subsidiary, he made his debut with the first team in a Copa del Rey match against Lleida in October 2017.

A member of the generation of ’97 along with Mikel Oyarzabal, Aihen Muñoz and Igor Zubeldia, the man from Gasteiz has accumulated more than 100 games as a professional and experience in the Europa League, and was also champion of the Copa del Rey with the ‘txuri urdin’ team in the 2019-20 edition.

“A committed player who has given 100% every time he has worn the ‘txuri urdin’ elastic, an example in all training processes. A squad player who knows the responsibility of being a member of the first team and what it entails to be willing to compete every Monday. (…) Guevara will always be one of ours. Thanks for everything, ‘Che'”, Real Sociedad said goodbye to him.
