Two months have passed since Isabel Pantoja’s niece became a mother for the first time with David Rodriguez. The little one Alma She remains admitted to the Maternal and Child University Hospital of Gran Canaria and from there her proud mother has congratulated her: “Two months, my life, and all the months we have left to fulfill”. An emotional message that Anabel Pantoja has shared on social networks accompanied by a beautiful video that shows the last days of her pregnancy.
It is the second time that Anabel has spoken publicly since her little girl was admitted with a “reserved prognosis.” The first was last Monday, when he issued a statement to explain how he was experiencing this situation: “11 days ago my life stopped but we continue there, fighting with love and faith, moving forward step by step. Alma is fine, thank God. Thank you for praying for Alma and sending us so much strength and love,” he explained.
There were some very distressing first hours due to the little girl’s state of health and many friends and family from the Peninsula flew to the island without thinking about it to hug the new mother, completely devastated. Fortunately, the girl’s progress is positive and although they will not be able to celebrate this anniversary as they would like, they do experience it from the tranquility and happiness that the good medical news offers: “The evolution is positive. Little by little, they hope that at a time of absolute stability they will decide to discharge him”Antonio Rossi said this Thursday. “The things that have been seen this week are all positive.”
Anabel and David’s environment ensures that they remain cautious but calm and hopeful. Neither of them has been separated from little Alma, who has been in the hospital’s ICU for two weeks now, and Merchi, Anabel’s mother, has been in charge of bringing them clean clothes and personal hygiene products to make the days more bearable. Great support also came from Isabel Pantoja and Agustín, who moved to Gran Canaria after their niece called and have visited her every day. There were also Isa Pi, Kiko Rivera and great friends like Belén Esteban and Amor Romeira.
