“You have changed your mind many, many times.” are words of Ana Rosa Quintana to the president Pedro Sanchez, on the Telecinco set. They began the interview with a tone between tense and very tense. They talked about “coexistence in Catalonia” and also about “Bildu’s lists”. It was the most anticipated and requested interview to the Presidency by Ana Rosa’s program.
The staging has been this. 9:00 in the morning of this Tuesday, July 4: Ana Rosa Quintana, seated on the left of the plane and the president on the right. Two glasses of water, two tables and two white armchairs. That, the color white, has taken one of the anecdotes of the television meeting. The presenter had already said it. “I’m only going to be able to wear white.” Ana Rosa argued that the rest of the colors had connections with political groups. Neither purple nor green nor blue nor red… white remained neutral and also because it was the tone he chose to receive the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo on his set (who, by the way, did wear a tie) .
Beyond the fact that white is neutral and impartial, it transmits optimism, symbolizes light, peace and understanding. Also creativity and reflection. Around 10:00 in the morning, the tense tone of the interview had subsided. “You and I have known each other for many years and we can have opposing positions…”, Sánchez continued, looking for more conciliatory words.
Sánchez, without a tie
In this context, the president has decided to appear without a tie. With a navy blue suit and a mauve-toned shirt, an unbuttoned collar and a look that conveys a more casual and intimate image. He was looking for that, a relaxed look, proximity. Proximity always generates empathy and good vibes.
