MADRID, 5 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish athlete Ana Peleteiro, Olympic bronze in Tokyo 2020 in the triple jump, confirmed this Monday that she will return to competition on June 14 at the International Meeting in Castellón and that she will do so “more mature and with more desire than ever”.
The Galician jumper has been off the slopes for 15 months and her last appearance had been in March 2022 during the ‘Indoor’ World Cup in Belgrade. Three months later she announced that she was going to be a mother and in December she gave birth to her first child.
“Finally the time has come, my time. After 15 months off the slopes and five months after fulfilling myself as a mother, I am back in the ring. And this time stronger, more mature and with more enthusiasm than ever. See you on the 14th of June at the Castellón International Meeting”, indicated Peleteiro on his official ‘Instagram’ profile.
