Ana Obregón has not yet explained if she donated the money from the exclusives that she promised to give to the Lequio Foundation.

Ana Obregón publicly promised to deliver whatever she received from the exclusives to the Foundation, but we do not know how much she received or how much she has delivered. She has not shown Hello checks or transfers. The Foundation will be impeccable but Ana cannot be said to be a supporter of transparency. Regardless of the dates on which a Foundation is obliged to present accounts, Ana Obregón could show the payments received from Hola or the brands that she has announced on Instagram and the transfers made. But she has not done so despite the fact that she publicly committed to delivering those funds from her activities as a celebrity in the weekly or as an influencer. An irregularity in the management of the Aless Lequio Foundation was never reported. What was published, and has since been proven, was that January 1, 2024, the publisher had not paid the payments related to the benefits of the book El Chico de las Musarañas. Aless’s own mother explained that on those dates the settlements of the rights had not been made and that they would be paid in March: then it was true that as of January 1, these funds had not been transferred. Although the settlements of rights arrived later, and have been delivered, it was not clarified by the biologist what happened to the amounts of advances that HarperCollins, the publisher had delivered, regardless of the sales rights that would come later.

Nor were the Foundation’s accounts questioned in relation to other income announced with great fanfare by Ana Obregón both through public statements and on her social networks. The presenter said that the caches of several exclusives that she granted were destined for the Foundation that bears the name of her son. There is no evidence that he kept his promise and Ana Obregón herself made different statements, some of them contradictory, to end with a phrase as indicative as this: “I have donated some exclusive ones but not all because now I have a mouth to feed.” There is also no record, much less transparency, regarding other amounts received by Ana Obregón for her work as an influencer who recommended some products on social networks and which she herself said would be contributed.

Lequio always defended that the Foundation’s impeccable accounts

In short, no one questioned the impeccable accounts of a Foundation that everyone admires and that in any case would be a victim of the bad image that its president has left with her false promises, contradictions, excuses and media exhibitionism, not to mention the obvious reproaches that another of the institution’s patrons even launched against Ana: let us remember that Alessandro Lequio always defended that the accounts of the foundation that he himself made possible but he pulled his ex’s ears for the reputational damage he was doing.
