Surrounded by her parents and her two sisters, Alexiawho is a partner of Leonor at the school in Wales, and Ariane, Amalia attended a photographic exhibition on the life of his great-grandmother, the queen Juliana, in Amsterdam. However, neither the 18-year-old girl nor her parents have wanted to answer questions from the press.

It was the kings themselves who, very worried, revealed the situation of their daughter last October 14. Amalia had to leave the student residence where she lived since she began studying Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics, as there was a high risk that she would be kidnapped.

“These consequences are very difficult for her. There is no student life like other students have. I am very proud of her and how she continues,” said the queen, while her husband pointed out “it is very hard”.

Last September, the Dutch media revealed that both the heiress to the throne and the prime minister, Mark Ruttehad been placed under heightened security fearing they were targets of the mafia, after their names appeared in messages intercepted by police.

The police then issued an order to the princess to leave Amsterdam and take refuge with her family. Rutte assured that the authorities involved are doing everything possible to guarantee that Amalia is safe and acknowledged being “concerned”.
