José Luis Martínez-Almeida48 years old, and Teresa Urquijo, 27, will say 'I do' on April 6 in Madrid. The mayor of the capital has spoken for the first time on the matter since we heard the news this week and has shared a post on his social networks.

“Once they asked me about sentimental questions. I answered that neither rush nor resign, it is obvious that I have not rushed but I was almost resigned. Until she appeared. And Teresa said yes to me,” the Popular Party politician wrote this Friday, January 5, along with a photo with his fiancé. What better gift from Three Kings for him.

The religious ceremony will take place in the chapel that the bride's family has in Los Molinos, in Navalagamella. Afterwards, they will celebrate their union at the 'El canto de la cruz' farm. The estate also belongs to the bride's family, specifically Teresa of Borbón-Two Sicilies and Borbón-Parma, cousin of King Juan Carlos and Teresa's maternal grandmother. It is located in the municipality of Colmenar Viejo, 30 minutes from Plaza Castilla, in Madrid.

They made their relationship official in June of last year when they went together to Las Ventas, the last bullfight of the San Isidro Fair. Since then they have been seen together in public, although they have always been cautious when talking about their private life. They have also shared plans outside the capital, such as the getaway to Ibiza that Informalia was witness. The politician, now, has broken his secrecy to shout his love from the four winds, since the arrival of the young woman into his life made him regain his hope in love.

The young woman studied at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE. She has a double degree in Law and Business Administration and works as an investment analyst at Merlin Properties, a real estate company.
