MADRID, 19 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The coach of Juventus FC, Massimiliano Allegri, apologized this Thursday to the fans of his team after the elimination against Sevilla FC in the semifinals of the Europa League, without being able to “do more” in extra time and having paid for “inexperience “in a tournament where the sevillistas dominate the record remarkably.

“I’m sorry, but we couldn’t do more than this. We pay for our inexperience, these crosses are decisive,” the Juventus coach told the official television of the match, after the ‘bianconera’ squad fell 2-1 against a an opponent who came back on the scoreboard and is looking for his seventh title in this competition.

“I have nothing to reproach the team for, we played a good game. Now our objective is to improve last year’s classification in Serie A, against Empoli we will put all the anger for this elimination,” said Allegri, in statements collected by ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’.

“When you play such important games, where the details make the difference, it takes a single moment to score a goal. These are steps that the team must take, especially the boys who have little international experience”, insisted the ‘Juve’ coach ‘, highlighting the greatest habit of his rival in these fights.

“We paid for the second goal, we could have had it 1-2. We couldn’t avoid it, it was a balanced game. When you reach the end like us, there are other teams that don’t lift trophies either. We have to think about ourselves, nobody is born learned”, Allegri added.

“I regret not having reached the final, the boys deserved it this year. Next year they will have more international matches and they will improve on the details,” he reiterated before thinking about Serie A. “We have to finish second, improve the ranking of the last two years. We must get rid of the disappointment and recover energy”, he concluded.
