The sports newspaper ‘Mundo Deportivo’ held its 2nd Women’s European Football Gala on Monday, where FC Barcelona received a large part of the awards that also went to goalkeeper Lola Gallardo and former Swedish soccer player Lotta Schelin.

Thus, during the event held at the Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm in Barcelona, ​​Alexia Putellas was awarded the MVP Trophy and her teammates Claudia Pina, Salma Paralluelo and Julia Bartel, champion of the Under-20 world and Under-19 Europe with the Trophies International Impact, Best Goal and Promise, respectively.

Ana Maye, general coordinator of the Equatorial Guinea men’s team, was recognized with the International Ambassador Trophy, while Riola Xhemaili, a 19-year-old Swiss midfielder from Freiburg, won the Talent Trophy.

Finally, the Mundo Deportivo Special Trophy went to Levante UD EDI for women, a team made up entirely of players with intellectual disabilities who have played in the Genuine League and reached the final phase in Bilbao.
