MADRID, 30 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Minister of Education, Professional Training and Sports, Pilar Alegría, assured this Monday that “there will be sanctions” for the fans who threw objects at Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois during the Madrid derby played this Sunday at the Cívitas Metropolitano and has cataloged the facts as “intolerable”.

“What happened yesterday on a soccer field in our country is intolerable. It is the antithesis of sporting values. There will be sanctions for the perpetrators,” said the Minister of Education, Vocational Training and Sports on her ‘X’ account.

Alegría also wanted to reiterate the Government’s “most absolute rejection” of the “violent” conduct that “harms” Spanish football in a publication accompanied by the statement from the Anti-Violence Commission on the altercations that caused the suspension of the match for nearly a quarter of hour.
