Aldama stands out from the triple in another defeat for the Grizzlies

MADRID, 30 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish power forward Santi Aldama put together an outstanding performance this morning, especially from the perimeter and as the third player with the most minutes on the court for the Memphis Grizzlies, in another defeat for the Tennessee team against Jordi's Sacramento Kings (94-103) Fernandez.

The Canarian repeated as a starter against the Kings, in a game in which he showed that he has improved from the triple, scoring five of the eight he attempted. In 34 minutes of play, the power forward scored 16 points – without any two-pointers – 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals, becoming the second best scoring player on his team.

Only Jaren Jackson Jr., who once again led the Grizzlies with 11 casualties – including Ja Morant – scored more points (22 points) in Memphis, which added its second consecutive defeat, with a poor record at home of 5- 16. Except for a great first quarter, Jenkins' team was in tow throughout the entire match, still installed in the lower zone of the West.

In Sacramento, Domantas Sabonis completed 20 points, 26 rebounds and 5 assists with more than 90% shooting from the field, a record only achieved by Wilt Chamberlain. The power forward was accompanied by an also successful De'Aaron Fox, his team's top scorer (23), who formed an irrepressible duo with the Lithuanian.

This victory, the fourth in a row for those led by Spaniard Jordi Domínguez, leaves the Kings strong in the Western Playoff positions, fifth with a balance of 27-18 and with an upward trend.
