Alcaraz is crowned Wimbledon champion: his emotional victory cry and the tears of his family in the stands

The 20-year-old Spanish tennis player was crowned this Sunday as the new Wimbledon champion. Carlos Alcaraz has been imposed on Novak Djokovic after a five set match. The Murcian maintains number one in the ATP ranking and lifts his second Grand Slam.

The young man fell to the ground after scoring the last point and quickly ran to the box where his family, his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero and all its technical team. Very excited and in tears everyone has melted into a hug.

After receiving the trophy from the hand of the Princess of Wales, Kate MiddletonAlcaraz dedicated some emotional words to his rival: “You inspire me a lot.
