Alcaraz enjoys his pass to the round of 16 at the US Open: “There have been points of great touch, of ‘show'”

MADRID, 3 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz enjoyed this Saturday his qualification for the round of 16 of the US Open, the fourth ‘Grand Slam’ of the season and which is played on a hard court in New York (United States), highlighting points “with a lot of touch” and several moments “of ‘show'” against the British Daniel Evans.

“There have been some moments in which there have been points of great touch, of ‘show’, also by him. But in the end he is a player that you never know what he is going to do to you, always with the cut, with going up to the volley, to go to the network… atypical that we say”, Alcaraz said before the microphones of Movistar Plus.

“The truth is that I am very happy to be able to get it out at the end in the fourth. I am left with very good moments, I think we have played a great game and that the people have also enjoyed it,” the Murcian finally added, after winning 6-2 , 6-3, 4-6 and 6-3 on the court of the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
