Alcaraz and Badosa will debut in the Hopman Cup against Belgium

Carlos Alcaraz and Paula Badosa, the couple that will represent Spain in the Hopman Cup, which will take place in Nice (France) from July 19 to 23, will debut in the team competition on Friday, July 21 against Belgium, as announced this Thursday the organization.

In each series of the event, the female tennis players face each other first and then the two male tennis players to close with a mixed doubles. Spain’s debut will be against a Belgium team formed by David Goffin and Elise Mertens, while the second game will be the following day against the other team in their group, Croatia led by Borna Coric and Donna Vekic.

The group champion will face on Sunday 23 in the final series the first classified of the other, made up of France, Switzerland and Denmark, which has the world number 7 and Alcaraz’s generational rival, Holger Rune.
