If a few days ago it was the names of Iker Casillas and Mariano Rajoy who were rumored to present themselves as a candidate for president in the next elections to the Royal Spanish Federation of Soccer (RFEF), this Saturday has stormed another medical character, Albert Rivera .

According to 'La Razn', the former president of Citizens, who left the policy after the last elections, has been polled to replace Luis Rubiales by “a group of influential entrepreneurs and leaders of regional football federations, who see in these candidates a guarantee of success for the next challenges facing the Spanish Federation.”

He adds the newspaper, in addition, that Rivera plans to hold meetings next week to continue gathering information on this new project.

The RFEF elections will take place during this 2020, possibly next spring.
