The possibility that Alba Carrillo was carrying a pregnancy has spread like wildfire, but the reality was quite different: the model debuts as a writer and launches her first book.

It’s called ‘Ready for life’ and it has brought a few tears to her mother, Lucia Pariente, the first to see it: “I am moved because we have seen you write it and live it,” she said. Her father congratulated her: “I think you have a great future as a writer.” Her son Lucas looked at him enthralled: “It’s very cool.”

The book has been published by Penguin and will go on sale on October 5. So far, the ‘promo’ has been a success.
