“We hope to reopen negotiations with Mbappé”

The president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has denied any contact to obtain the services of the French coach Zinédine Zidane and has assured that they are “very happy” with the Argentine Mauricio Pochettino, in addition to hoping that they can open the negotiations renewal with striker Kylian Mbappé.
“Pochettino is our coach and he is happy to be with us, and we are happy to work with him. He is doing a good job. Everyone needs time. I see all the rumors, we have to stop talking about this, it is not true”, He declared after the Ballon d’Or gala.
In this sense, the top leader of the Parisian club reiterated that they are “very happy” to have the Argentine coach and denied any rumors about the possible arrival of the former Madrid coach. “We have not had any contact with Zidane. He is a great coach, but we also have a very good one,” he said.
On the other hand, Al-Khelaifi acknowledged that he hopes to reopen negotiations with Kylian Mbappé, who in January could negotiate a new contract and bet on Real Madrid. “We hope so,” he confessed. “You know what I think, Kylian is a great player, a great man. Kylian knows what he wants to do, so do we,” he stressed.
In another vein, he was happy for the Ballon d’Or achieved this Monday by Leo Messi. “For the club, it is the first, I hope it is not the last. I hope that other players win it, starting with Kylian. I am sure, he wants to win it,” he said.
