Ajax sign young Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus

Ajax made this Thursday the signing of 19-year-old Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus, who has signed contract until June 2025 and is expected to strengthen the Amsterdam team's lead.

Kudus, from FC Nordsjaelland Denmark, was introduced after passing the medical examination and will wear number 20, which became vacant last season after departure Lasse Schöne. According to the Dutch press, Ajax has paid about nine million euros more variable due to the services of Kudus, which stands out for its good ability to dribble one-on-one and usually positions itself as Offensive Midfielder, Center Forward or Right Winger.

Last season he participated in 21 matches in the Danish Super League, in which scored nine goals and assisted. His evolution earned him to debut as an international with the Ghana team last November. His signing for Ajax definitively ends the rumors that placed him in other European clubs, including AC Milan or Manchester United.

In Amsterdam they hope that the Ghanaian will give a bite to the forward of Erik Ten Hag, since his scoring ability was damaged in the European competitions of the current season due to the numerous absences of David Neres and Quincy Promes, due to injury, and the low performance of Ryan Babel.
